Amarjit’s plan of relocating ACC HQ back to KL looks bright after winning election

KUALA LUMPUR: The newly elected president of the Asian Cycling Confederation (ACC), Datuk Amarjit Singh Gill, will work on relocating the governing body’s headquarters back to Kuala Lumpur while also working towards realising the OneAsia Agenda, which was a key part of his manifesto.

Amarjit, who also serves as the president of the Malaysian National Cycling Federation (MNCF), defeated Indonesia’s Raja Sapta Oktohari, the president of the Indonesian Olympic Committee (MOI), with a 24-17 vote.
