Rising star Sawda making heads turn in junior cycling circle


PETALING JAYA: Sawda Hasbullah (pic) will be sitting for her Sijil Pelajaran Malaysia (SPM) this year but it has not stopped the student from making waves in the junior cycling circle.

The 17-year-old made heads turn on Wednesday when she claimed gold in the keirin event at the Asean Track Series 3, solidifying her position as one of Malaysia’s brightest young talents.
