Izzat brings early Raya cheers for MPC by grabbing sprinter’s title in Thailand


PETALING JAYA: Izzat Hilmi Abdul Halil brought early Raya joy for newcomers Malaysia Pro Cycling Team (MPC) after bagging the green jersey (sprinter) title on the final day of the Tour of Thailand yesterday.

The 28--year-old finished the sixth and final stage of the Tour in second place behind St George Continental’s Nick Kergozou from New Zealand, who won in 4’25:47.
