LA2028 prospect Izzah could earn Olympic ticket sooner than expected

Fast-rising rider: Izzah has a good shot to join Azizul and Shah Firdaus on board the plane to the Paris Olympics if she can finish ahead of riders from Spain, Hong Kong and Poland in the final round of the Track Nations Cup in Milton.

PETALING JAYA: It could be a joyful Raya weekend for double Asian champion cyclist Nurul Izzah Izzati Mohd Asri if she gets her act right in the final round of the Track Nations Cup in Milton from April 12-14.

Izzah, nicknamed The Pocket Rocketwoman, will fly to Milton early next week to race in the keirin and individual sprint.
