Azizul and Shah Firdaus skip final round of Nations Cup to focus on high-intensity training in Melbourne

PETALING JAYA: With their Olympic spots in the bag, track cyclists Azizulhasni Awang and Mohd Shah Firdaus Sahrom will skip the Track Nations Cup in Milton, Canada, from April 12-14 to focus on their high-intensity training in Melbourne, Australia.

Both Azizul and Shah Firdaus are assured of a berth each in keirin and individual sprint at the Paris Olympics in July and can afford to miss the final round of the Track Nations Cup, which offers qualifying points for the Olympics.
