PETALING JAYA: Track cyclist Nurul Izzah Izzati Mohd Asri stole the thunder for Malaysia by romping to bronze in the women’s sprint on the third day of the Asian Championships in New Delhi, India.

The 20-year-old put up a plucky performance to beat Japan’s Aki Sakai in two heats at Indira Gandhi Velodrome yesterday.
