Yusof leads mixed para sprint team to gold on first day of ACC

PETALING JAYA: Mohd Yusof Hafizi Shaharuddin, fresh from a historic podium feat at the Para Cycling World Cup in Adelaide last month, anchored the mixed para sprint team to take gold on the opening day of the Asian Cycling Championships (ACC) in New Delhi, India, last night.

Yusof, Mohd Hafiz Jamali and Zuhairi Ahmad Tarmizi clocked 52.284s in the final to beat India to the first gold medal awarded at the Indira Gandhi Velodrome.
