PETALING JAYA: It was double joy for Malaysia as the para cyclists claimed a bronze in the mixed B (visual impairment) team sprint event while veteran Azizulhasni Awang made a strong charge into the quarter-finals at the World Championships in Glasgow, Scotland.

Nur Suraiya Zamri-Farina Shawati Adnan (pilot) and Khairul Hazwan Wahab-Khairul Adha Rasol (pilot) clocked 51.393s to beat the United States (51.990s) in the third place decider of the World Para Track Cycling Championships at the Sir Chris Hoy Velodrome on Tuesday evening.
