Alyssa steals the show with surprise silver

NILAI: Debutant track cyclist Nur Alyssa Mohd Farid only went through one month of training but it was good enough to put her on the podium in the Asian Championships in Nilai.

The 17-year-old from Johor put up a plucky performance to snatch a surprise silver for Malaysia in the women’s junior keirin final at the National Velodrome yesterday.
