Molano sprints to second stage win of the year

PETALING JAYA: Colombian Juan Sebastian Molano (pic), who tasted his first WorldTour victory with a stage win in this year’s Vuelta Espana, stamped his mark in a close bunch sprint to bag Stage 2 of the PETRONAS Le Tour de Langkawi (LTdL).

Molano, the lead-out cyclist for UAE Team Emirates, timed his sprint well in the last 200m to overtake Craig Wiggins of Ara Pro Racing Sunshine Coast, who ended in second place in the 178.9km stage that ended at Dataran Raub yesterday.
