SEA Games: Malaysia win unexpected gold from mixed mountain bike event

HANOI: Malaysia pulled off a big shock in the SEA Games mountain bike competition when Ahmad Syazrin Awang Ilah, Zulfikri Zulkifli, Natahsya Soon and Nur Assyira Zainal Abidin won the mixed team cross country event in Hoa Binh.

The quartet clocked 1'23:14 to claim the 20th gold medal for the Malaysian contingent at the Hanoi SEA Games.
