PETALING JAYA: The Malaysian road cyclists’ hopes of qualifying for the World Championship went up in smoke following the cancellation of the 2020 Asian Road Championship (ARC).
The event which was scheduled in Malaysia on March 17-21 was shelved to June due to the Covid-19 pandemic. However, the Asian Cycling Confederation (ACC) decided to pull the plug on June 9.
