Sprint team suffer setback after Fadhil’s training injury


Racing against time: Mohd Fadhil Zonis suffered bruises after a fall during training at National Velodrome in Nilai on Saturday.

PETALING JAYA: Mohd Fadhil Zonis crashed at high speed on the last day of training at the National Velodrome in Nilai and is in a race against time to get back on the saddle for the Asian Cycling Championships starting on Wednesday in Jakarta.

Fadhil had bruises after the slip on the timber flooring on Saturday, but thankfully, did not suffer any broken bones.
