JAKARTA: Cyclist Azizulhasni Awang has stormed into the men's sprint final, but there will be no 1-2 finish for Malaysia after his younger teammate Muhammad Shah Firdaus Sahrom was eliminated in the semis at Jakarta International Velodrome on Thursday (Aug 30) this morning.

This is the first time that Azizul has made it into the final of an Asian Games sprint event after he beat South Korean Im Chae-bin in two semi-final heats.
