PETALING JAYA: Malaysia made a clean sweep of all five gold medals in the Asean Para Games track cycling at the National Velodrome in Nilai.

Zuhairie Ahmad Tarmizi (pix) clocked 5:06.968 to beat Philippines Eustaquio Bucay, who posted 5:15.574 in the men's 4km individual pursuit (C5) final, while Sufyan Saori of Indonesia got the bronze.

It was the fifth gold medal for Malaysia.

The hosts won seven gold medals on Sunday and thus pulled off a gold sweep of all 12 events contested.

The 9th Asean Para Games will be held from Sept 17-23.
