The 28-year-old Australian, a former renowned track cyclist, displayed his sprinting prowess to get the better of South African Ryan Gibbons of Dimension Data and Italian Nicolas Marini of Nippo-Vini Fantini in yesterday’s 124.8km battle from Kuala Berang to Kuala Terengganu. Sunderland crossed the finish line in 2’54:45.
