Azizul happy with bronze, targets gold at 2020 Tokyo

RIO DE JANEIRO: Azizulhasni Awang failed to deliver the promised gold, but he was glad to finally clinch Malaysia’s first-ever cycling medal – a bronze – in the Olympics.

The 28-year-old rider finished third in the men’s keirin final behind gold medallist Jason Kenny of Britain and Matthijs Buchli of Holland at the Rio Olympic Velodrome on Tuesday.
