PETALING JAYA: It was a disappointing day in the men’s junior road race of the Asian Cycling Championships with none of the four Malaysians finishing the race in Oshima Island, Japan.

Najmi Zulkefli, Mohd Firdaus Awang, Zamirul Adlhisham and Muhd Shaiful Adlan could not cope with the stiff 3km uphill climb at the start of the race and their challenges faded early.
