Azizul pedals to keirin silver in Australia

PETALING JAYA: Malaysia’s Azizulhasni Awang ended the year with a silver medal after finishing second in the men’s keirin at the Austral Wheelrace in Melbourne, Australia.

Azizulhasni was pipped at the finish line by Commonwealth Games champion Matthew Glaetzer of Australia on Saturday. Simon Van Velthooven of New Zealand was third while Josiah Ng, the other Malaysian finalist, was placed fourth.
