Lami a race away from overall title in Langkawi

LANGKAWI: Michal Lami of the Slovakian national team is on track to be crowned the Tradewinds Langkawi International Mountain Bike Challenge (LIMBC) 2014 men’s elite champion today – despite not winning a single stage this year.

In Stage Four’s 24.6km cross country race, Lami settled for second spot for the fourth straight stage. He clocked 1’11:18.30 – four seconds behind stage winner Fabian Giger of Giant Pro XC Team (1’11:14.40).
