Junior cyclist Mohd Firdaus victorious at Track Asia Cup

PETALING JAYA: Cyclist Mohd Firdaus Mohd Zonis continued his winning ways as he claimed gold for Malaysia in the men’s junior 1km time trial at the Track Asia Cup at the Hua Mak Velodrome in Bangkok.

Firdaus, who claimed the bronze in the same event at the Track World Junior Championships in South Korea in August, clocked 1:08.626 to share the gold with Hong Kong’s Leong Ka Yu at the 333m outdoor track on Sunday.
