Sprint festival begins in Langkawi

LANGKAWI: A sprint festival is on the cards for the 19th edition of Le Tour de Langkawi (LTdL) which starts Thursday, with as many as eight stages from the total of 10 suitable for a sprint finish.

LTdL stage-win record holder Andrea Guardini (Astana) with 12 wins since 2011 looks to be in fine form after grabbing a podium finish in the Tour of Dubai from Feb 5-8.
