SYDNEY (Reuters) - Cycling Australia (CA) appointed Gerry Ryan as its new president on Monday, entrusting him with the job of restoring public faith in the governing body and the sport in the wake of high-profile doping scandals.
Owner of the professional Orica-GreenEDGE team, Ryan replaces Klaus Mueller, who stepped down in August after a tumultuous three-and-half years at the helm.
