LANGKAWI: Germany’s Adelheid Morath managed to take victory in Stage 1 of the Langkawi International Mountain Bike Challenge (LIMBC) despite taking a wrong turn during the women’s Open 65km race on Tuesday.
The Sabine Spitz Haibike rider was lying third when she followed two riders in taking an unmarked route. Luckily, she discovered her mistake and rejoined the race.
