PETALING JAYA: National cricketer Virandeep Singh has not only realised his dream of playing the sport overseas, but he has also won the Nepal Everest Premier League with his club Chitwan Tigers.
The Tigers, led by Nepalese all-rounder Sompal Kami, beat Pokhara Rhinos by four wickets. Virandeep did not make the starting line-up for the final, but he can beam with pride that he is the first Malaysian to win the competition.
