NOTTINGHAM, England (Reuters) - New Zealand coach Gary Stead said he saw no advantage to his team's World Cup group stage match against India being abandoned due to rain on Thursday, despite the Indians looking like the team to beat after their opening wins over South Africa and Australia.

"If you want to go through and play a semi-final or make the final, you're going to have to play all the teams and you're going to have beat those teams," Stead told reporters at a news conference.
