(Reuters) - Royal Challengers Bangalore batsman AB de Villiers has said the Indian Premier League (IPL) should do away with large fines for slow over rates and shorten innings breaks to 10 minutes so matches finish before midnight.
Some IPL evening matches, which start at 8 p.m. local time, have finished well past midnight this season due to innings stretching beyond the stipulated 90 minutes.
