PALLEKELE, Sri Lanka (Reuters) - Opening batsman Dimuth Karunaratne struck an unbeaten half-century to lead Sri Lanka's recovery after three early wickets from England left-arm spinner Jack Leach had left the hosts rattled on the fourth day of the second test on Saturday.

Chasing 301 for a series-levelling win on a turning Pallekele track, Sri Lanka reached 93 for three at lunch after being reduced to 26-3 by Leach's brilliant spell of spin bowling with the new ball.
