Debut to remember for young golfers

YOUNGSTERS Amir Nazrin and Shahriffuddin Ariffin who made their debut in the Bandar Malaysia Open 2020 golf tournament, deserve a pat on the back for putting their more experienced and senior compatriots in the shade at the Kota Permai Golf and Country Club in Shah Alam.

Amir, 22, and Shahriffuddin, 21, ended the rain-shortened tournament in joint 38th spot with seven others after carding a five-under 211 three-day total to take home US$6,038 (RM25,190) each.
