The Penang Malays Tennis Association players rejoicing with officials after bagging the Datuk Freddie Choong Cup at the USM courts in Gelugor.

FOR the last three years, the Penang Malays Tennis Association had to play bridesmaid to Bukit Mertajam Tennis Club ‘A’ in the annual Datuk Freddie Choong Cup veteran tennis tournament.

This year, they managed to turn the tables on the defending champions by beating them 2-1 in the final at the Universiti Sains Malaysia courts in Gelugor, Penang.
