Lawn bowlers take centre stage

The Perak Lawn Bowls Arena is playing host to the inaugural Chief Minister’s Challenge Trophy 2019.

Top national and foreign lawn bowls players from Malaysia and six other countries are currently competing in the inaugural Chief Minister’s Challenge Trophy 2019 triples lawn bowls competition, which ends on Sept 1 at the Perak Lawn Bowls Arena in Ipoh.

However, the national players will be spread out in the competition as the rules only allow one national player per team to ensure that the overall strength of the local teams are balanced.
