Penang shuttlers reign supreme in mixed team challenge


Jubilant Penang players and coaches are all smiles for the camera after being crowned champions of the National Interstate Under-18 Mixed team championship.

PENANG ended the reign of title-holder Selangor, beating them 4-2 in the final of the National Interstate Under-18 Mixed Team badminton challenge.

Coach Razlan Abdullah said he was not surprised with his players’ achievements in the four-day tournament at the Penang BA Hall in Bukit Dumbar.
