CARRIE Scully, the head chef of Medan Damansara restaurant Tiki Taka, is one of the four people from Asia who won a recent Facebook competition by Wolf Blass Wines.

Scully won a fully-paid trip to watch the FA Cup final and then cook for the Manchester City players at the Etihad Stadium.

She will be making her dish, Tiki Taka Tiradito, in front of the Manchester City players, who will then try to recreate the same dish.

As the cooking demo will be done in the Etihad Stadium, Scully will have to create a dish that is fast and easy to prepare, and of course, delicious.

The restaurant is also planning to introduce the dish a couple of weeks after Scully returns.

“I came across the competition while scrolling through Facebook. I thought it would be a great experience to meet and cook for the Manchester City team.

“I have always been inspired by the Tiki Taka technique of play introduced by Pep Guardiola while he was managing Barcelona and I used that concept to create my dish,” said Scully, who was inspired to be a chef at a very young age after tasting her father’s spaghetti bolognaise.

Scully describes her cooking as modern traditional as she likes to give traditional recipes a modern twist.

When asked what she looked forward to on the trip and how it would feel to share her skills with the recently crowned English champions, Scully said, “I am really excited to share my love for cooking and I believe it will be a fun experience for everyone.

Scully thinks Citizens captain Vincent Kompany will lead by example and fare the best in recreating the dish.

Man City will be gunning for an unprecedented domestic treble when they take on Watford in the FA Cup finals today. They beat Chelsea on penalties to lift the League Cup in February and retained the Premier League title by a point from second-placed Liverpool after beating Brighton last week.
