THE Penang government has always placed importance on the welfare of athletes and their supporting team, said state Youth and Sports Committee chairman Soon Lip Chee.

“Since I took up the post of Penang Youth and Sports exco, one of the most important aspects that I stress on is the welfare of athletes and the supporting team such as the coaches.
