ABOUT 40 orphans from two homes had a fun time at an Orphanage Children’s Community Badminton Camp held at SUK Shah Alam Club badminton hall.

The event was one of the corporate social responsibility (CSR) programmes by Kumpulan Perangsang Selangor Bhd (Perangsang) under the Rangsangan Sukan Selangor programme

Camp head coach Jason Wong said the objectives were to scout and recruit potential talents from the grassroots.

“It helps build teamwork, promote badminton, and increase the confidence of young children at different levels of the community.

About 36 children turned up for the event at Champion Arena Badminton Hall, Kampung Sungai Kayu Ara, Petaling Jaya.
