Little fighters make their debut


Young and tenacious fighters trying to establish a control position before looking for a joint lock or chokehold.

This year’s Copa da Malasia, the country’s largest competition for the sport of Brazilian ju-jitsu (BJJ) got an extra boost with the introduction of matches for the younger set.

“We introduced for the first time a children’s division and it drew a great turnout. We had around 30 competitors in the division,” said representative of organisers Awesome Possom Grappling Enterprise, Foo Zhen Wei.
