Danial and Hafiz scorch the lanes to enter knockout stage

PETALING JAYA: Newcomer Mohd Danial Abu Samah (left) was on fire as he partnered Mohd Hafiz Zainuddin to enter the top 24 knockout stage as the top seeds in the men’s doubles event at the World Championships in Hong Kong yesterday.

At just 19, Danial is the youngest member of the six-man national squad, but he showed maturity beyond his years and refused to let his inexperience hold him back.
