Rafiq on cloud nine as he stays on top of ABF rankings

PETALING JAYA: Defending the top position is harder than climbing the rankings but national bowler Rafiq Ismail successfully retained his standing in the latest Asian Bowling Federation (ABF) rankings.

It was a breakthrough moment for the 26-year-old Rafiq when he ascended to the Asian throne last year after years of being in the top three of the rankings and he lived up to his reputation by continuing to dominate the rankings this year with 442 points.
