PETALING JAYA: It was a day of mixed fortunes for the national women bowlers Esther Cheah and Siti Safiyah Amirah Abdul Rahman in the women’s singles of the World Championships at the Kuwait Bowling Sporting Club yesterday.
Safiyah was all smiles after booking her berth in the second round but Esther failed to make the cut.
