Li Jane, Nora roll off bid to end medal wait in world meet in style


PETALING JAYA: National bowlers Sin Li Jane and Nora Lyana Nastasia Norkamal got off to a promising start in their quest to end Malaysia’s women’s singles title drought in the World Championships at the Kuwait Bowling Sporting Club yesterday.

Li Jane rolled down 1,142 pins to finish top in Group A – Pool 2 with 12 points while Columbia’s Veronica Cepeda was second (914 pins) with nine points and Mie Agerbo Ostergaard of Denmark settled for third (940 pins) with nine points.
