Shalin and Sharon hope younger athletes will get more psychological support

KUALA LUMPUR: Having been there and done that, bowling legend Datuk Shalin Zulkifli and former squash champion Sharon Wee can agree on one thing – it is important to nurture the confidence of the younger athletes and provide support at the critical moments.

The two former athletes are also the deputy chefs-de-mission for the Cambodia SEA Games from May 5-17 and they hoped the National Sports Council (NSC) together with National Sports Institute (NSI) will not overlook the importance of sending psychologists apart from medical support.
