Mistakes prove costly as women miss out on bronze


PETALING JAYA: The women bowlers were left to rue their mistakes which cost them a podium finish at the Asian Championships.

The team of Esther Cheah (pic), Sin Li Jane, Natasha Roslan, Gillian Lim and Puteri Nurul Dini Mohd Faudzi missed out on the bronze by a mere 56 pins after scoring 6,763 to finish behind China, who rolled down 6,819 pins at the SCAA Bowling Centre in Hong Kong yesterday.
