PETALING JAYA: Bowler Timmy Tan is keeping his fingers crossed that they can maintain their momentum as he sets his sights on defending the men’s trios gold in the Asian Championships.

Timmy and his teammates Rafiq Ismail and Ahmad Muaz Fishol blazed the lanes with 766 pins, 789 and 777 respectively to end the first block of six games as the leaders of the second squad with a total 2,332 pins at the SCAA Bowling Centre in Hong Kong.
