Syabil won’t expect teammates to roll over as he seeks Junior All-Stars medal


Riding the momentum: Syabil Azam Syamsul Azam believes that competing in back-to-back tournaments has helped him to maintain a positive mindset.

PETALING JAYA: Garnering a silver medal in the Singapore recently has whetted national junior bowler Syabil Azam Syamsul Azam’s appetite for more in the ongoing Under-22 International Junior All-Stars Bowling Championship at the Sunway Mega Lanes in Petaling Jaya.

But the 18-year-old admits he faces two big obstacles in his quest for another medal in the form of two teammates – Azriq Izam and Shaqeem Izwan Teh Shahrul Hafiz Teh.
