Lavinia on fast lane

Well done: Bowler Lavinia Kho posing with the Sarawak flag after capturing the women’s singles gold.

WHILE all eyes were on Sarawakian bowler Gillian Lim to capture the gold in the women’s singles in the Malaysia Games (Sukma), it was her younger teammate and debutant Lavinia Kho who stole the show and emerged victorious at the Pyramid Mega Lanes.

The 17-year-old Lavinia, put in a sterling display yesterday to upstage her senior who only managed to finish a disappointing 12th.
