ONE of Malaysia’s longest serving bowlers – Alex Liew – decided to call it a day a little over a month ago. The 43-year-old, who marked an illustrious career with numerous titles and accolades, will be embarking on a new journey as a coach in the national youth set-up. He shared his thoughts with StarSport’s R. KIRUBASHINI on his passion for the sport and his hopes for the future.
StarSport: Alex, after 24 years in the national bowling team, you have called it a day and turned to coaching. How has it been since you left the scene?
