Keglers hope for financial support to compete in US

KUALA LUMPUR: The national women bowlers have set their sights on another competitive action against the world’s best keglers at the prestigious Professional Women’s Bowling Association (PWBA) Tour in the United States. However, each of them might have to fork out about RM25,000 to RM30,000 of their own money if the National Sports Council continue to refrain themselves from funding the tour for a second consecutive year.

The 2017 World Bowling Championships team event gold medallist, Sin Li Jane, who will be featuring in the tour for the fifth time this April, said the team’s previous outings had helped them win glories at the world meet.
