Natasha finishes a credible third in her first World Cup campaign

Superb run: Malaysia’s Natasha Roslan capped her debut at the World Cup with a third place finish.

PETALING JAYA: There was no debut title for Malaysian bowler Natasha Roslan, but she can certainly be proud of her third placing in the Qubica AMF World Cup bowling championships in Palembang, Indonesia.

The 23-year-old lass from Selangor finished second in the qualifiers by scoring 8,427 pins in 40 games but lost to Australia’s Rebecca Whiting 176-199 in the one-game single elimination semi-final at the Jakabaring Sports City yesterday.
