PETALING JAYA: There's just no stopping Rafiq Ismail.

The national bowling ace has captured his third title in the space of a month when he won the Hong Kong Open on Saturday (July 20).

Rafiq edged teammate Ahmad Muaz Fishol 223-174 in the men's Open final as the duo completed a grand 1-2 finish for Malaysia at the SCAA Bowling Centre.

Prior to this win, Rafiq had picked up the Singapore Open on June 30 and European Bowling Tour (EBT) Masters in Madrid on July 4.

Nur Amirah Auni Azman nearly made it a double joy for Malaysia but she was beaten into second place in the women's Open division by Iliya Syamin of Singapore.

Amirah was denied of her maiden international title after losing 160-215.
