PETALING JAYA: National bowler Tun Ameerul Hakim Tun Hasnul Azam is close to making amends at the Thailand Open after coming up short last year.

The 20-year-old topped the 74-player qualifying standings in the men’s Open category with an impressive 10-game total 2,373 following the completion of two blocks of 10 games at the Blu-O Rhythm & Bowl in Bangkok yesterday.
